GRI content index
Following is a content index for indicators specified by the GRI sustainability Reporting Guidelines G3 - and that is reported by Vattenfall. The content index specifies indicator names as well as identification numbers according to the standard (in parenthesis), directing you to pages where you can find relevant information. We also report what UN Global Compact Principles that are relevant in regards to each indicator.
Statements of status, boundaries and omission regarding indicators are provided in the respective indicator reporting text. We do not report on the following core indicators:
- Emissions of ozone-depleting substances by weight (EN19). Ozone-depleteing substances are used to a very limited extent within Vattenfall's operations and we do not aggregate this at Group level.
- Initiatives to mitigate environmental impacts of products and services, and extent of impact mitigation (EN26) is outside the boundaries set by the report.
- Percentage of products sold and their packaging materials that are reclaimed by category (EN27) is not relevant to our business.
- Percentage and total number of significant investment agreements that include human rights clauses or that have undergone human rights screening ( HR1). In the countries where Vattenfall holds corporate citizenship these issues are controlled by legal frameworks, hence data is not collected.
The Electric Utility Sector Supplement Pilot was published in autumn 2007. Sector Supplement Indicators have been reported on when easily accessible and feasible to collect.
